Our store owner, Rick Sanders, is still facing major health challenges, but he has worked at the store whenever he can. With our early spring, we again offer a bountiful selection of warm-weather shoes for our little patrons and their parents. Beyond the usual abundant supply of Keen Newports for boys and girls, we now offer Keen’s Whisper style sandal for girls, which fits more narrowly and has a more diminutive toe cap than the typical Keen sandal. In addition to the closed-toe sandals from Keen, we have water-friendly sandals from Teva, Nike, Stride Rite and Merrell for kids. Our dress sandals for girls this season come in almost every color, including some wonderful metallic tones from our friends at Jumping Jacks. Another dressier brand of sandals, our American-made Jack Rogers, are offered for moms and girls in a variety of colors, including platinum. When we think of spring, we think of the iconic canvas sneakers from Converse in low and in high-top. We also think of Sperry Topsiders, which continue their phenomenal popularity, especially with our teenage customers. We now offer men more choices in Sperry’s boat shoes. For ladies, a very different product this year are canvas skimmers from Reef. Although everyone thinks of Reef for flip flops, these new casual summer shoes would be adorable with leggings, cropped pants or shorts. We also feature a colorful assortment of Fit Flops with uppers in patent, nubuck, metallic and sequins. Please think of us for soccer and baseball cleats and know that we have freshened up our rain boot selection for kids and moms. In other news, we are phasing out our rewards card. We are still updating the cards with your purchases and redeeming the cards, but not issuing new ones. Instead, we are trying to offer more immediate rewards for our customers, such as through Plum District, which is akin to a Groupon for moms. We plan to do two or three coupons annually through Plum District. We are now also mailing three promotional postcards annually. Our brands include:
